Sweet Olive Rescue Farm
We can’t say enough about how much our regular visits to Sweet Olive mean to us. As a partner for years, Sweet Olive provides our students with the opportunity to give back through volunteerism. Plus they get to love on all the animals!
Augusta University/ University of Georgia Medical Partnership
The Community Service and Outreach Student Interest Group (COSIG) at the Medical Partnership connected with Double Helix to serve as a resource for students to learn more about the medical field and to encourage students who have been historically excluded from the field of medicine to think about medicine as a career choice.
During monthly field trips, students interact with trained and vetted student mentors and participate in a variety of age-appropriate, high-interest activities designed to teach them about the human body, what medical school is like, and how one can become a doctor.
